Shared hosting puts several websites on one server, and each plan sets limits on how much of that server you can use. Choosing a plan is mostly a matter of counting: how many sites you run, how much storage they need, how many databases your applications use and how much memory a single script may take. The Virtual Hosting plans follow the same pattern, so you can compare them line by line.

Four plans with the same structure
Virtual Hosting comes in four plans called KiloHost, MegaHost, GigaHost and TeraHost. The number of websites, the NVMe storage, the DNS zones and the MySQL databases all double from one plan to the next. The PHP memory limit doubles from KiloHost to MegaHost and again to GigaHost, and TeraHost keeps the GigaHost value.
- KiloHost: 1 website, 2 GB NVMe storage, 1 DNS zone, 1 MySQL database and 256 MB of PHP memory per script.
- MegaHost: 2 websites, 4 GB NVMe storage, 2 DNS zones, 2 MySQL databases and 512 MB per script.
- GigaHost: 4 websites, 8 GB NVMe storage, 4 DNS zones, 4 MySQL databases and 1024 MB per script.
- TeraHost: 8 websites, 16 GB NVMe storage, 8 DNS zones, 8 MySQL databases and 1024 MB per script.
Start with the number of websites
Count every site you plan to host on the account, including test copies and temporary campaign pages. A single brochure site fits KiloHost well. A company site with a separate blog or a second brand needs at least MegaHost, and an agency with several client projects should count each project before choosing. The limit applies to websites, not to the number of pages inside each one.
Storage and databases
NVMe storage is the disk space for your website files, images, uploads and other content. A photo-heavy site fills the space faster than a text-only blog, so estimate the need from the folder sizes you see today and add room for growth. The database limit is separate. A content management system usually needs one database, but a shop, a forum or a test copy each need their own, so write down every application before you choose the number.
Memory per script
Each PHP script can use only a limited amount of memory, and the list above shows that ceiling for each plan. Page builders, image processing, large imports and some shop extensions need more memory per script. If a script stops with a memory error, first check whether a specific plugin or import is responsible. If the workload really is heavy, a plan with a higher limit is the right answer. KiloHost suits small sites with light scripts, while GigaHost and TeraHost leave more room for larger content management systems and shops.
What every plan includes
The features stay the same across the plans, so the choice is about size only. Every Virtual Hosting plan includes selectable PHP versions from 5.3 to 8.4, phpMyAdmin, webmail, cron jobs, backups, free SSL certificates, FTP access, HTTP/3 and antivirus protection. Bandwidth is unlimited, and a web control panel manages the account.
A simple selection method
- Write down the number of websites and databases you need now.
- Estimate the storage for files, images and uploads, and add room for the next year.
- Identify the heaviest application and its memory needs.
- Choose the smallest plan that covers all four numbers, and keep the next plan in mind if one number is close to its limit.
Frequently asked questions
Can I start small and grow later? Yes. Start with the plan that covers today's numbers and check your usage regularly. When one number keeps reaching its limit, that is the signal to look at the next plan.
Does a bigger plan make a site faster? Not by itself. More storage and memory help when those limits are the bottleneck. Slow code and oversized images need fixing inside the site.
Do I need one plan for each website? Not necessarily. A single plan can host several sites up to its website limit, as long as the storage and the databases fit.
